Forget business casual, Gen Z workers are all about athleisure in the office. Yoga pants, stylish joggers … whatever is cute and comfortable. And it’s becoming more accepted by bosses looking to attract Gen Z workers.
“They’re not just chasing job titles; they’re chasing balance," says Grace Garrick, who runs a PR agency. “They want to feel good while doing the work, and if that means wearing activewear to the office, they’ll ask for it.” Garrick says it would be “silly" not to allow those clothes in the office, saying that when you’re dressed that way “you’re more inclined to be mobile and get active and get things done.”
