One of the allegations Cassie makes in her lawsuit against former boyfriend Sean "Diddy" Combs is that he assaulted her in a hotel in 2016 -- and newly released security video seems to corroborate her story.
CNN has obtained the video, which is dated March 5th, 2016 and was taken at the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in the Century City section of L.A. You see Cassie running down a hall and to an elevator bank, then Diddy chasing her wearing just a towel. He throws her to the floor, kicks her a couple of times, starts dragging her back to their room, and then throws an object at her.
This corresponds to an allegation in Cassie's suit where she says Diddy got drunk and punched her in the face while they were in a hotel. In her complaint, she doesn't remember the exact date but places it in March 2016.
