According to a new survey 1 in 8 American adults have taken Ozempic or similar GLP-1 medications, and 6% of Americans (15 million people) are currently using the drug. 62% say they have taken it to treat a chronic condition like diabetes or heart disease, while 43% say they have used the injectables to lose weight.
