TAMPA -- No injuries reported, following the partial collapse of a postal service facility Monday evening.
The U.S. Postal Service says it happened around 9:20 Monday evening (28th) at a building on 4720 Oak Fair Boulevard, across U.S. 301 from the Florida State Fairgrounds. Experts are evaluating the building and working to find out what caused the collapse.
USPS employees have been told to report for work at an alternate facility south of Ybor City. The Postal Service says first-class mail isn't processed in either facility, and it expects no substantial impacts on service.
