Metro Boomin's plans for a wild night in Miami went up in smoke after the yacht he rented went down in flames.

In the early hours of Sunday morning, January 19, the hitmaker and his entourage arrived at Booby Trap On The River in Miami in a lavish yacht. According to Local10 in Miami, the "Like That" producer and his crew docked the boat in front of the venue before they went inside. After employees at the venue noticed black smoke onboard, Metro Boomin, his 10 guests, and five crew members were evacuated from the vessel.

“Around 3 o’clock the boat arrived, it was Metro Boomin,” said Michael Marhefka, Director of Security at the Booby Trap on the River. “The boat pulled up and they were on the boat maybe 30 minutes at the dock and we noticed what sounded like fire alarms going off. When we looked at the boat, we did see some smoke inside the boat. We made the determination to evacuate the boat immediately.”

Everyone made it off the boat safely and no one was injured. Metro and his team even made it inside and partied for a bit before the club was shut down while firefighters put out the flames. Sources with knowledge of the situation say the fire was sparked by a speaker onboard. Police are still investigating the incident. Metro Boomin broke his silence in an Instagram Story on Sunday evening. He didn't say much about the fire, however, he did confirm he's actively working on Young Thug's upcoming album.

"Don't believe everything you see online," he wrote. "Clout got the world in a chokehold. Back to working on @thuggerthugger1 Album. 3 times."

Although the club shut down, the party continued outside. Check out more scenes from the outrageous event below.
