The San Jose Sharks (12-23-6) defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning (20-13-2) 2-1 late Thursday night in San Jose.
For the Sharks, the win snapped an eight-game losing streak. Tyler Toffoli and Mario Ferraro both scored for the Sharks, while Anthony Cirelli scored the lone goal for Tampa Bay.
The Lightning will look to bounce back when they travel to Los Angeles to play the Kings on Saturday. Puck drop Saturday night is scheduled for 9:00 PM between the Lightning and Kings.
