Maple Leafs Hand Lightning Second Straight Loss

The Toronto Maple Leafs (4-2-0) defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning (3-2-0) 5-2 on Monday night in Toronto. It was the second consecutive loss for Tampa Bay.

William Nylander had two goals and an assist for the Maple Leafs. The Lightning had goals from Nicholas Paul and Brayden Point in the losing effort.

The Lightning now head to New Jersey they will play the Devils on Tuesday night. Puck drop on Tuesday is scheduled for 6:45 PM.
