Eve recently revealed the unconventional way that she used to make money at the strip club.
The “Pitbull in a Skirt” has been making the rounds to promote her new book, Who’s That Girl? And during her time on Sway’s Universe, she gave up a secret from her days as a dancer. It turns out she figured she could make money by spitting without having to show skin.
She explains, “I was still so focused on rapping. I would get tipped for rapping. Guys would be like, ‘Can I get a lap dance?’ And I’d be like, ‘Let me rap for you! If you think I’m wack, I’ll give you the lap dance for free.’ And most of the time, I wasn’t! And I would get tipped literally for rapping. Literally, guys would be like, ‘Shorty, you crazy!’ Because of course. What are you doing walking around a strip club rapping?”
She speaks on what it was like back in these early days of her come-up in a chapter of her book called The Laziest Stripper.
