BET HIP HOP AWARDS: Megan and Kendrick Rule

The nominations are in for the BET Hip Hop Awards, and Megan Thee Stallion and Kendrick Lamar are leading the pack.

Meg has 12 nods to her name, while Kendrick trails right behind with 11. Meanwhile, Drake managed to rack up recognition in eight different categories. Other artists with multiple nominations include Cardi B, GloRilla, Metro Boomin and Nicki Minaj, all of whom are in the running in seven different fields, while Future, Travis Scott, and 21 Savage all also received several nominations each.

This year’s BET Hip Hop Awards will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada for the first time ever after more than a decade in Atlanta. It all goes down October 8th in Las Vegas before airing on BET the next week on October 15th at 8 p.m. Fat Joe will serve as host, with performers to be announced.
