Rise Against rocked the stage during 2019 iHeartRadio ALTer EGO with their soaring guitar riffs, but the band had a big surprise for fans towards the end of their set. The band brought out surprise guest, Rage Against the Machine's Tom Morello, to help them perform his song "How Long."

"How Long" is off of Morello's 2018 album The Atlas Underground, which features Rise Against's Tim McIlrath and Steve Aoki. Morello appeared on stage with his guitar as he and the rest of Rise Against rocked out on stage while performing the song.

As Tim McIlrath sang, Morello continued to absolutely shred through the track with his guitar ... using his teeth to do so. Truly a rockstar moment.

Rise Against kicked off their iHeartRadio ALTer EGO set with "Satellite," then continuing with "House On Fire" and "Prayer of the Refugee."

The performance then moved on to the band's song "Re-Education (Thru Labor)," which Tim dedicated to all of the educators in the wake of the recent strike by Los Angeles teachers. McIlrath spoke of how teachers are so important as they help guide and shape young minds. He told the crowd in the arena, "To all the public school teachers, to all the educators, this song's for you."

Rise Against also performed their song "Savior," which they dedicated to all of their fans. The band then ended their set with "The Violence" from their 2017 album Wolves.
